Sentient Corporation is a technology leader in statistical and physics based product life prediction (prognostics) for military, aerospace, renewable energy and industrial machinery. Sentient is seeking to fill an immediate job opening for a mechanical engineer with experience. This mechanical engineer will report to the chief scientist to support new or ongoing projects.

Strong written and oral skills are required. All of our staff supports report and proposal writing. Background with rotorcraft, turbine engines, aircraft or power generation is strongly desired.

Requires BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience in product design and analysis. Project management and analytical skills (managing data and production support).

Proficiency with LS-DYNA, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Word and Excel.
