Sentient maintains a significant physical testing and research program, including unique laboratory facilities for studying machine component degradation and failure. Sentient has particular expertise in rolling element bearings for industrial, aircraft propulsion, and space applications.

We feature a large and growing library of data on bearing failure modes, fault signatures, and spall progression that is unmatched. This database, combined with our extensive experience developing innovative sensors, diagnostics, modeling, and prognostics for bearings, has made us the global technology leader in bearing health monitoring.

Our expertise spans a wide range of mechanical and electromechanical systems, from industrial machinery all the way up to military turbine engines operating at 25,000 RPM. Nearly half of our technical staff hold PhD degrees, and most have extensive experience in military/aerospace prognostics.
